Qnetic’s Safety-First Design
At Qnetic, robust engineering means planning for scenarios you hope never occur. Our team has completed the assembly and testing of the emergency safety bearing for Vega . The safety bearing is designed as a fail-safe mechanism designed to protect the rotor in the unlikely event of power loss or abnormal operation. In normal operation, the safety bearing is not used. But keeping it in the design and testing it early is a deliberate engineering choice. Through this system, we

Qnetic Reaches 10,000 RPM Milestone with Vega
With the Vega safety cover now fully installed , Vega has successfully surpassed 10,000 rpm , a major technical milestone for Qnetic. The gauge display shown is from Qnetic’s internal system monitoring software. Vega ’s rated continuous power capacity is 10.5 kW. The screen capture was taken during operation at 7.5 kW . This achievement doubles the previously announced operating speed and represents a significant step forward not only for the rotor itself, but for the enti

Another key milestone at the Tech Centre!
A 20-tonne overhead bridge crane has been successfully delivered and installed. This marks a major step toward full hardware assembly for Pulsar, our next-generation flywheel energy storage prototype. The new crane will support the lifting and integration of core components, enabling safe, fast, and precise assembly work. It has a span of 19.5m and a lifting hook height of 10.3m. While the rails were already here, the bridge and trolly are brand new. Custom made, delivery was
