Qnetic Sacramento Production Center Completed

Qnetic is pleased to announce the completion of its Sacramento Production Center (SPC), marking a major transition from site construction to active facility onboarding. Construction and site landscaping are fully finished, and Qnetic’s U.S. operations team has officially taken possession of the keys.

Located in the Metro Air Park industrial hub near Sacramento International Airport, the facility was selected for its modern infrastructure, strategic freight access, and proximity to major clean energy and technological corridors.

Built for Operations and Manufacturing Scale

The new Sacramento site integrates both administrative office quarters and heavy-duty factory space:

  • Office and Operations Hub: Housing Qnetic’s executive, engineering, supply chain, and administrative teams to coordinate global operations.
  • Factory and Assembly Floor: Designed specifically for low-volume assembly, testing, and quality validation of Qnetic’s solid-state flywheel energy storage systems (Q500).

Next Steps: Moving from Groundwork to Execution

With the keys in hand, Qnetic is executing a phased activation plan:

  1. Team Activation: Moving operations and engineering teams into the facility.
  1. Infrastructure Fit-Out: Installing heavy assembly machinery, specialized unit test pits, and safety systems.
  1. Production Rollout: Initiating near-term unit builds to support pilot validation and commercialization schedules.

“Receiving the keys to our Sacramento facility is a pivotal moment for Qnetic,” said Tod Stebbins, Director of Operations. “We now have the physical canvas required to establish our manufacturing workflows, build out test pits, and begin assembling our full-scale mechanical batteries under one roof.”

More detailed updates of the Sacramento facility will be posted in the coming weeks.
