Qnetic Reaches 10,000 RPM Milestone with Vega

With the Vega safety cover now fully installed, Vega has successfully surpassed 10,000 rpm, a major technical milestone for Qnetic.

The gauge display shown is from Qnetic’s internal system monitoring software. Vega’s rated continuous power capacity is 10.5 kW. The screen capture was taken during operation at 7.5 kW.

This achievement doubles the previously announced operating speed and represents a significant step forward not only for the rotor itself, but for the entire system design, including dynamic controls and active magnetic bearings (AMBs) operating at high speed.

Reaching this threshold validates the robustness of Vega’s mechanical design, control systems, and safety framework, and marks another step forward as testing ramps toward higher performance levels.
